AT Engineering supplies tablet press tooling — upper and lower punches, dies and die segments, and multi-tip tooling for rotary and single-station tablet presses. Tooling is manufactured to EU and TSM standards (B, D, BB, DB types) or to customer drawings, for tablets of any shape: round, oval, capsule-shaped, with break lines, embossing and logos.

FAQ
What is the difference between EU and TSM tooling?
They are the two most common tooling standards. They differ in punch head geometry, dimensions and tolerances. The standard is defined by your tablet press model — we will help you identify it.
What can be done if tablets stick to the punches?
Sticking is often solved by changing the punch coating (chrome, TiN, CrN), polishing the tip face, or adjusting the tablet shape and embossing. Our engineers will recommend the best option.
Can you make tooling from a sample?
Yes. From a tablet sample or a worn punch we prepare drawings and manufacture a new tooling set.
What is the lead time?
Lead time depends on tooling complexity and the number of sets. The exact time is stated in our quotation.
